Within our hair services, we are committed to working confidently with all hair types and textures, ensuring every client is met with skill, understanding, and care.

We consider each individual’s hair, needs, and goals carefully, and prioritise healthy, suitable, and realistic results over trends or assumptions. We always aim to work collaboratively with clients to achieve the best possible outcome.

We also maintain our commitment to being fully vegan and cruelty-free across all hair products, including colour, styling products, and studio supplies.

We are a passionate, experienced and highly skilled team of freelancers, specialising in tattooing, hair cutting, styling and colouring.

We are based in the heart of Penarth, on the outskirts of Cardiff, South Wales, in our private, relaxed, informal studio.

Cult was orignally established in 2020 as a hair salon, by stylist Zoë Williams, out of 3 core principles: to be ethical, sustainable and inclusive.

n 2026 we decided to strip everything back, and return to our creative roots - and wanted to add to the offer by introducing tattooing into our space.

Individuality is at the core of what we do - precision detailed hair cutting and bespoke colouring along with specialist hand drawn tattoo designs.
