I’m a Beauty Educator… but that’s only one part of who I am. 🤍
I’m a nail technician, business owner, mentor, content creator and mum of three.
Some days I’m teaching.
Some days I’m doing nails.
Some days I’m creating something new for my academy.
And some days I’m just trying to balance it all. 😂
After 8 years in the beauty industry, I’ve learned that success isn’t about doing everything perfectly.
It’s about building a business that allows you to grow without losing yourself along the way.
Because I’m building a business, but I’m also building a life. 🤍

NAIL TECHS — have your white gloves ever turned yellow during a manicure? 👀🧤
Excessive sweating of the client’s hands (palmar hyperhidrosis) can make nail preparation more challenging.
Moisture on the nail plate may affect product adhesion and increase the risk of lifting.
That’s why it’s important to:
✔ Keep the nail plate clean and dry.
✔ Follow the correct preparation and dehydration process.
✔ Avoid over-prepping or damaging the natural nail.
✔ Choose products suitable for the client’s nails.
Remember: Yellow gloves alone don’t confirm hyperhidrosis — products and other substances can also cause discolouration.
Good nail technicians don’t just follow steps. They understand WHY. 🤍
Have you experienced this with your clients? 👇

A warm welcome to my newest student at Diva Beauty Academy 🤍
Rachel is officially booked in for Lash Lift Training, and I’m so excited to have her joining me at the Academy.
There’s always something special about the moment a student decides to invest in a new skill and take the next step in her beauty career.
I can’t wait to welcome you in person, get started and see your progress throughout the training day.
See you soon, Rachel. 🤍

The final result always looks simple when you only see the finished nail.
But every good set is built from small decisions along the way — preparation, product control, structure, shape and finishing.
This is why I always say: beautiful nails are not just about the colour.
It’s the details underneath that create the final result.
Technique first. Finish second. 🤍
Save this if you love seeing the full nail process from start to finish.

WHEN A BASE LEVELS THIS FAST…
A good salon base should make your work easier , not slower.
What I notice first is how the product behaves during application.
This one levels very quickly, so I don’t have to spend ages moving the product around or correcting the surface.
For me, that means:
faster application, better control and a smoother finish.
And when you’re working with clients all day, those little differences really matter.
Would you like me to show more products I actually use in the salon? 🤍

Sterilisation is part of the service , not an optional extra.
If you’re learning nails, don’t focus only on application, shaping and the final result.
You also need to understand what happens to your tools before and after every client.
My process includes cleaning the tools, ultrasonic cleaning, drying, sealing them into sterilisation pouches and then sterilising them in an autoclave.
This is something I always include in my training, because knowing how to create beautiful nails is not enough.
You also need to know how to work safely, professionally and responsibly.
Good technique matters. Safe technique matters too.
Save this for later if you’re learning professional nail hygiene. 🤍

Downward-growing nails don’t always need more product. Sometimes they need a completely different structure.
For this correction, I didn’t want to simply add more product on top and hope for a better shape.
I first looked at the direction of growth, removed the old product and rebuilt the nail using a dual form.
But correcting the top is only part of the job.
The underside matters too.
If there’s too much bulk underneath, the nail can still feel heavy and look unbalanced — even if the top looks good.
That’s why I always refine the structure from every angle, not just from above.
Good nail work is about understanding the problem first — then choosing the right technique.
Save this for your next correction. 🤍

Korean Lash Lift — student work 🤍
One training day, real models and plenty of hands-on practice.
After watching my demonstration, Julka worked on her own models, taking everything we covered and putting it into practice.
And these are her results.
For me, training isn’t about sitting and watching all day. I want my students to actually work, practise and leave knowing they can do it themselves.
So proud of you, Julka. 🤍
Lifting doesn’t automatically mean you need a different product. 🙌
Before changing your base, gel or primer, look at the whole process.
Was the nail plate prepared correctly?
Is the product suitable for that client’s nails?
Was it applied correctly?
Is the structure strong enough?
Where exactly is the lifting happening?
Because where the product lifts can tell you a lot about WHY it’s lifting.
And that’s something I always want my students to understand:
Don’t just learn how to fix the problem.
Learn how to find the reason behind it.
That’s when you stop guessing, stop constantly changing products and start making confident decisions as a nail tech. 🤍

August was a month of family, growth, beauty education and some very special moments. 🤍
I started the month with family time before heading back to busy days with clients and students at Diva Beauty Academy in Scotland.
One of the biggest moments was completing our first Advance Academy for Nail Technicians — three months of developing nail skills, confidence and beauty business knowledge.
August also brought more nail training in Scotland, including Gel Extensions training with Dannie as she continued building her skills step by step.
And there was another moment I’ll never forget — seeing my clients sitting in the Academy reading my story in The Courier. 🥹
Then Lily joined our family. 🐾
I finished the month in Kraków, where this time I became the student and continued developing my own skills with photography training.
Because being a Beauty Educator doesn’t mean you stop learning.
I teach nail and beauty professionals, but I also want to keep developing, learning and becoming better at what I do.
For me, building a successful beauty business isn’t about working every hour possible.
It’s about creating something that gives you space for your career, your growth, your family and your life.
That’s what August looked like for me. 🤍
