Long before aromatherapy became part of the modern beauty industry, a young beauty therapist called Eve Taylor had become fascinated by the extraordinary possibilities of essential oils.

So she began blending her own.

At home. At her kitchen table. While raising five sons.

This was Britain in the 1960s – a time when women building businesses of their own was far less commonplace than it is today.

But Eve had knowledge, determination and a belief in what professional therapists could achieve.

She developed her own pre-blended aromatic treatment oils and pioneered treatment techniques that would go on to help shape professional aromatherapy practice around the world.

And those original aromatic blends?

We still make them today.

From one therapist working at her kitchen table, Eve Taylor London grew into a professional skincare brand used by therapists around the world.

But Eve’s influence reaches far beyond the company carrying her name. Her contribution to aromatherapy and the professional beauty industry has inspired and educated generations of therapists.

In 2008, that contribution was recognised when Eve was awarded an OBE.

Then, in 2024, came an extraordinary honour.

Eve Taylor became Dame Eve Taylor.

Now in her 90s, she has seen the business she began more than six decades ago grow from those first hand-blended oils into a global professional skincare brand.

Products change. Treatments evolve. Science moves forward.

But more than 60 years later, the belief that started it all remains:
