🤩 WOW what a Summer 🤩

🚀 RECORD BREAKING numbers 🔥🔥

Our main aim as always this summer was to keep the children safe and give them unforgettable memories.

Along the way we’ve introduced new workshops to our camps, delivered lots of sports and fun games, had water activities and used our magical inflatables.

Children have made new friends and hopefully had the best time possible with us!

Thank you to all the schools that allowed us to use your facilities. To all the incredible organizations and people that came in and delivered workshops. To Millfield Auto Parts and everything they gave to all the children, so generous. To the local authority for enabling us to deliver so many HAF camps. To the parents and families for putting your trust in YDP. To the children who joined us. You are why we do what we do and what makes everything so special. Finally, to our team of coaches who have passion and enthusiasm every day and ensure the children have a brilliant time.

Summer 2026 has been one of the best….if not the BEST! 💙💙💙

🏫 Yr 6 to Yr 7 Transition Camp 🏫

Today we had 101 year 6 students join us. All the students will be joining Stanground Academy next week.

Today and tomorrow is about building new friendships, easing any anxiety or stress about joining a new school and familiarizing the children with the new school and settings.

A really successful and enjoyable day. Thank you to the leadership at Stanground Academy for putting their trust in us to deliver this camp for them 💙

A very tight and well contested game today against Eye Rangers in our first ever Peterborough Premier Division match. Both teams had chances but we just about did enough to take the points 🍒

TEAM BONDING / FAREWELL 😢

Last night some of our team got together to say goodbye to Coaches Lilly, Ollie and Euan 😢

All 3 are fantastic coaches and even better people. They have all been incredible for us having huge impact in the schools they went into.

Lilly and Ollie are both becoming teachers in schools that YDP work with. Euan is also going into the school setting/pathway. We are extremely proud that we have helped 3 more of our coaches get to where they wanted to be.

All 3 will be sorely missed. We wish them all the very best 💙
