✨ STORY TIME… ✨

Did you know… my PMU journey actually started 10 years ago!? 😬

I did a course (and spent thousands on training and kit) back when PMU — and the training as we know it now — was still in its infancy.

The mapping was over-complicated, the practice skin felt like the back of a vinyl kitchen tile, the pigments were tricky to work with… and honestly? Hardly anyone had even heard of microblading — never mind powder brows.

I spent hours and hours practising and completing case studies.

And truthfully…
👉 I hated it 🤣🤣

My confidence was low and the post-training support was basically non-existent. So one day, after finishing my required case studies, I put my blade down and swore I’d never go back to it. 🤣

Fast forward 7.5 years…

I retrained — right from the beginning — but this time with:
✨ better knowledge
✨ better support
✨ better equipment & pigments

…and I fell in love with it instantly. 💖

It hasn’t all been plain sailing (when is it ever?), but I am so glad I came back to this industry. I get to work with the most amazing clients while constantly learning and growing.

2.5 years later and I haven’t regretted a single thing — I still love it just as much today as the day I returned. 🫶
