The tan develops through a cosmetic reaction on the skin's surface with the DHA (Dihydroxacetone) this is a colorless plant derived sugar usually sourced from sugar cane or sugar beets it is an active ingredient in all professional spray tans

Vitamin E which acts as an antioxidant to protect against free radicals.

🙏🏼 Please always follow my advice on how to look after your tan.

✨️The tan is delicate, a bit like old school nail varnish, you have to be careful until it has fully developed.

💧Do not use any products on your first rinse, WATER only.

Rinse top to bottom and watch the water running off your body, you will see the bronzer washing away, the water should be clear once you have rinsed properly. (This is NOT your tan washing off)

✋️Gently rub your skin whilst rinsing to avoid streaks and uneven development

Here's what I'd avoid 👇🏼

1. Moisturising immediately before your tan:
Your skin needs to be clean and product-free so the solution can develop evenly. Do not use moisturiser on the day of your appointment.

2. Tight clothing straight afterwards:
Loose, dark clothing is your best friend while your tan develops. Ideally long sleeves and legs to avoid skin touching skin. An oversized T.shirt is next best. Avoid thin straps at all costs.

3. Oily exfoliators:
Oils can leave a barrier on the skin and affect how evenly your tan develops. I recommend using exfoliating gloves with an oil free shower gel like Sanex Zero or Simple

Always follow advice for aftercare on how to look after your tan, some can get 10 days of looking like a bronzed beauty🤎

Remember to drink plenty of water too as this will hydrate the skin from within.💙

✨️Please always remember to thorough remove old tan before coming for a new one as the new tan can cling to the old one causing dark patches which can peel and will look unsightly.
