A Little Reminder ❤️
We just wanted to share a gentle reminder about the impact of last-minute cancellations & no-shows. This week alone, we’ve had a few which have unfortunately resulted in a loss of earnings.
As many of you know, both myself & Charlotte are self-employed. This means if we don’t carry out a treatment, we simply don’t get paid. I’m currently working reduced hours over the summer holidays, juggling childcare with Nath (who is also self-employed), so when either of us can’t work, it’s a double hit financially. It’s also really difficult for us to contact people on our cancellation list at short notice, meaning those gaps go unfilled.
We do have a cancellation policy in place which requires at least 24 hours’ notice, otherwise a fee will apply. I’ll be honest — I’ve found it hard to enforce in the past, but going forward this will be put into place more firmly to protect our time & income.
Additionally, we’ll be introducing deposits for certain treatments to help reduce no-shows & secure bookings.
We completely understand that sometimes things happen & plans change, & we always aim to be as flexible as we can. But we also really appreciate your understanding & support as we try to balance our work & family life over the busy summer months.
