You may already know Zoe! 💗 We started her lymphatic drainage journey 5 weeks ago, just 1 week after her tummy tuck, once she had been signed off by her surgeon.

For this video, we had already worked on draining upwards, but unfortunately I couldn’t film that part, so you’ll only see me working on the lower abdomen.

💧 Why is the direction of drainage important after a tummy tuck?

After surgery, the lymphatic system around the lower abdomen can be affected and needs time to recover. That’s why understanding the appropriate drainage pathways and working gently and safely is so important during post-operative recovery.

Every body and every surgery is different, so post-op lymphatic drainage should always be carried out appropriately and only once your surgeon has cleared you for treatment. 🤍

I’m so proud of Zoe’s progress and absolutely love being part of her recovery journey! 🫶✨

And lastly, I apologise for not being able to capture those satisfying bloating/drainage sounds this time! 😂 There was a treatment happening next door, so we were really struggling to get a clear recording. Hopefully next time! 🤭💗
