✨ Sorry I’ve been a little quiet on here! ✨

I’ve just had a lovely few days away in Edinburgh with friends celebrating my birthday 🥂🎂❤️

We had such a great time, lots of laughs, good food, a few drinks and some much-needed time away! 🥰

I’m back home now, but not for long as I’m away again tomorrow 😂

It’s certainly been a busy summer, but I’m making the most of it! ☀️💕

✨ WHY DOES A CONSULTATION MATTER? ✨

A successful CryoPen® treatment starts before the treatment itself — with a thorough consultation.

At SH Aesthetics, your safety always comes first. As a Registered Nurse, I take the time to assess each skin concern carefully before deciding whether CryoPen® treatment is appropriate.

During your consultation we will:
✔️ Assess the area and its suitability for treatment
✔️ Review your medical history
✔️ Discuss the treatment and what you can realistically expect
✔️ Check for any reasons why treatment may not be suitable
✔️ Refer you to your GP or an appropriate specialist if there are any concerns

Not every skin lesion should be treated, and if I’m unsure about anything, I won’t treat it until it has been appropriately assessed.

CryoPen® can be used for the removal of certain benign skin lesions, following consultation and assessment.

But what exactly is cryotherapy, and what does it do?

❄️ CryoPen® uses a precise, controlled application of extreme cold to target certain benign skin lesions, while helping to minimise the impact on the surrounding healthy skin.

It can be suitable for concerns such as:
✨ Skin tags
✨ Certain warts
✨ Verrucas
✨ Cherry angiomas
✨ Milia
✨ Age/sun spots
✨ Other suitable benign skin lesions

Most importantly, every treatment starts with a consultation and assessment. Not every lesion is suitable for CryoPen®, and anything that looks suspicious or needs further investigation will not be treated and will be referred appropriately.

🐾 A very quiet house today… 🐾

A bittersweet day as Nellie’s gorgeous puppies 🐶 and Tinkerbell’s beautiful kittens 🐱 head off to their forever homes. 🏡❤️

After weeks of cuddles, chaos and watching them grow, the house suddenly feels very quiet and a little lonely! 🥹

We’ll miss these little faces so much, but we know they’re off to be loved and spoilt by their wonderful new families. ❤️🐾
