But why does it take several appointments?

Laser is most effective when hair is in its active growth stage, called the anagen phase. Your hairs move through their growth cycles at different times, so we can’t effectively target them all in one appointment. Carefully spaced sessions allow us to treat more hairs as they enter that active stage.

By your 9th–10th treatment, you may notice a real difference in your regrowth and how your skin feels—but everyone’s journey is different.

At Studio Beauty, I usually recommend an initial course of 8–10 treatments. This is a guide, rather than a guaranteed finish line. Your hair and skin type, hormones, treatment area and individual response can all affect your progress. Lifestyle factors, such as sun exposure, can affect treatment scheduling, and keeping to your recommended appointments matters too.

Some clients need fewer sessions, others need more, and maintenance treatments may be needed.
