☀️ Riverside Salon is now closed for the summer break. Thank you to all our clients for another brilliant year with our learners. Please keep an eye on our social media pages for when we are back open and taking appointments. To our learners, thank you for all your hard work and well done for your achievements. 🌺 As the academic year comes an end we have learners who are now looking for jobs in their chosen industry.
We would love to hear off any salons needing staff for beauty, hair, barbering and makeup.
We will be happy to share the job roles so the learners can apply and hopefully find employment. Please feel free to reach out if you are currently looking for staff. 🌺

🐸 Springhill Hospice charity fund raiser 🐸

Continuing on our fundraising efforts our Entry level beauty therapy learners are holding a charity day in salon.

Monday 11th May. 1pm & 2pm.

Minimum donation for treatments is £5 per treatment.

Treatments include:

Facials
Gel nails
Manicures
Hair ups
Wash and blow dry
Conditioning treatment

A huge thank you to everyone who donated to our Christmas Raffle this year! 🎄✨

Thanks to your generosity, we were able to raise an amazing £763.37, exceeding our original target… something we were absolutely ecstatic about!

All proceeds were donated to Springhill Hospice , 🐸 a charity that is close to many hearts, especially here in Rochdale. The work they do is truly invaluable, making such a positive difference to individuals, families, and the wider community.

Thank you to the wonderful Jo from the hospice who came into present the cheque to show how much we have raised. It’s got pride of place in the salon 😊 a special thanks to all staff who donated the raffle prizes!

We have recently started two new fundraising activities for Springhill Hospice, where learners from Entry and Level 1 are looking for clients for certain treatments for a minimum donation of £5.

Please keep an eye out for upcoming dates and times, we would love to raise our total for the year to over £1000! Your continued support means so much, so please look out for our next post and help us make an even bigger difference 💚

🌞 Our level 2 beauty therapy learners on their final push for completing assessments.
We really need some clients for the following treatments….
• Pedicure- inc OPI polish
• Waxing- Leg, Underarm, Bikini, Facial
• Lash Lifting- Using Nouveau LVL products
• Eye treatments- Brow shape, lash and brow tint

Appointments are available Tuesday & Wednesday 1-4, Thursday 9-12 & 1-4. Friday 9-12.

Please note that a patch test is required for LVL & tinting appointments. It is a training college where learners complete the treatments under the supervision of instructors. Timings of treatments can be a little bit longer so please consider this when making bookings. 😊

⭐ Models needed ⭐

Our Level 1 Hairdressing learners are completing their work experience in Riverside Salon as part of their course.

This is to not only help gain confidence and valuable industry skills but to also raise some money which is all going towards Springhill Hospice.

For the next few weeks they are needing models for various treatments as described on the posters attached 😊 the learners have made the PowerPoints themselves to promote their salon session 👏🏻 (more of these to come)

For any tinting, lvl or hair colouring services a patch test is required 24-48 hours prior to the treatment. If a patch test is not carried out the service cannot be completed.

We can only accept card payments.

The salon no longer has parking at the college please park in the public car parks which are available in the town centre.
