Due to holidays, I will only be in the salon for 7 days across August and September, and availability is already filling up quickly.

Many of my regular facial clients have their appointments booked in advance, so if you’re due a facial, brows, aesthetics treatment, or have a special occasion coming up, please make sure you secure your appointment as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

If you’re visiting Bella Lux this week, please allow a little extra time for your journey.

🚧 Barnsley Road is currently closed between the Highgate crossroads and the BP garage- I’m not sure for how long.

Don’t worry – the salon is still fully accessible. You can reach us:

💚 Via Goldthorpe (through the village), or
💚 Via the A635 / Aldi roundabout (see route below).

If your usual route is affected, please plan a few extra minutes for your journey.

If you’re unsure which way to come, just send us a message and we’ll happily point you in the right direction. We look forward to seeing you! ✨

I’m currently away on holiday still and my signal is very hit and miss, so if you’ve messaged about appointments or enquiries, please bear with me. I’ll be back at work on Friday and will get back to everyone as soon as I’m home.

With temperatures set to rise this week, we wanted to share a few reminders for anyone visiting the salon.

Although Bella Lux stays much cooler than many salons thanks to our shop front not being in direct sunlight, we’ll still be doing everything we can to keep the salon comfortable for both clients and staff throughout the warmer days. ❄️

👁️ Lash Clients
Higher temperatures can affect lash adhesive and curing times, so please make sure you follow all aftercare advice provided by your lash technician following your appointment.

💉 Aesthetics Clients
Please check directly with your practitioner regarding any specific aftercare recommendations and precautions during the warmer weather.

✨ Facial Clients
Following facial treatments, it’s important to avoid direct sun exposure and follow the aftercare advice given. A UV protection cream will be applied after your treatment with myself and you’ll also be provided with protection to take away with you to help keep your skin protected.

💅 Nail & Pedicure Clients
Heat can affect how products perform and how long they last. Please follow your aftercare advice to keep your nails and toes looking their best for longer. 💚
