🧴 Wearing sunscreen (SPF) on a sunbed can reduce your tanning results.

SPF is designed to absorb, reflect or scatter UV rays before they pe*****te your skin. Because a tan is triggered by UV exposure stimulating melanin production, sunscreen can reduce the amount of UV reaching your skin, meaning it may slow or lessen the tanning process.

✨ That’s why indoor tanning lotions are different. They don’t contain SPF and are formulated to hydrate the skin and help achieve a more even tan during a sunbed session—they’re not designed to block UV.

🦵☀️ WHY WON’T MY LEGS TAN?! ☀️🦵

The question we hear ALLLL the time 😂 You’ve got a gorgeous glow everywhere else… meanwhile your legs have apparently decided they’re not participating 🙃

If your legs are being stubborn, it might be time to switch things up 👀

✨ Alternate between stand-ups & laydowns
🧴 Try changing your tanning cream — you may have hit a plateau!
🔥 If you’re experienced with them, try a tingle
🫧 Exfoliate 1–2 times a week
💦 Moisturise daily, especially after showering and after your session
💬 And most importantly — ASK US! We can recommend creams and give you a few tips based on your tanning routine.
