CANCELLATION POLICY LIFE HAPPENS 🤍 But So Does Running a Small Business

Well it looks like I've got a lot of shredding to do!!!!😳🤭 😆 My archive files now shut 🥳and there is a little space created for current clients in the filing cabinet 🥳😁
Note: some of these are sad losses as I looked through I notice 5 are no longer with us (to my knowledge) and 3 have moved away to start a fresh in other countries 😢

Jobs between Christmas and new year and thoughts I have....🤔🤷🏻‍♀️
1️⃣Going through files to see when people last visited. 🤔Thinking I wonder where they are and what they are doing???🤔, what happened to them??🤔 I hope they are OK,🤔 I hope they are happy 😊 ... I like that person 🥰

2️⃣Destroying files over 7yrs old😮‍💨 but if they come back they can and I would be happy to see them 😊 🥰, life does change but I hope for the better 😊

3️⃣ Making a list of clients to contact because its been a while 🤔 I hope they're ok🤔 I hope they don't think it's just for the work, I genuinely want to know they are OK 🤷🏻‍♀️

4️⃣Looking at self leaning and courses to take to ensure you stay awsome at your job💪😃 but how much will all that cost 😮‍💨😶🤑 can I fit it in!?!

5️⃣ Thinking of what I can do better or more of, what can I do to make my clients feel as important as they are!! Is there anything I can stock and sell??🤔 it's all relevant 🤷🏻‍♀️

6️⃣ Gosh self care, yep, I need to book some days off this year... for me, for my family, they are important too!! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🐕🐴🐇

7️⃣ How do I let my work family know how much I appreciate them and how much I value them 🥰 totally love them to death ❤️

8️⃣ How the hell do I fit everything in 24hrs, 7days, 1month, 1 year 🤯🤯, work, family 🤯🤷🏻‍♀️

9️⃣ I wonder if I can ever be organised and plan things to fruition 🤣🤔🤦🏻‍♀️

🔟 I wonder what 2026 brings?? 🤷🏻‍♀️ hopefully great things 🥰

I would like to thank everyone who has visited my little business this year. I am truly grateful to you all. You are an amazing bunch of people I have the privilege to say I know.
I hope that I have helped you cope with all life has thrown at you this year and made you feel better in the process. I will endeavour to keep it up and hopefully do even better.

It’s really important that our clients understand our cancellation policy. A day’s notice isn’t notice at all — we require a minimum of 48 hours, and even that can be challenging. As self-employed therapists, we plan our weekly income in advance, and sudden changes can have a big impact. 😩 Many people don’t realise that when we don’t work, we don’t get paid. That’s why our cancellation and no-show fees exist.👌🏼 Clients can sometimes feel frustrated when they’re asked to pay for a missed appointment, but here’s the reality: Imagine going to your job and being told your wages are £30 less today because you had to leave early. You wouldn’t accept that. Now imagine it happening several times a month — it adds up quickly and affects your ability to pay your bills. 💰 This is exactly why we charge a cancellation fee. We understand that life happens — you might forget (even with reminders), become unwell, or something unexpected may come up. But when you don’t attend your appointment, we are still ready, prepped, and unable to fill that space. As much as we’d love not to charge anyone, we don’t have a magical money tree in the garden and we have to protect ourselves both financially and mentally. 🫶🏼 If a cancellation fee isn’t paid, we can’t book another appointment until it’s settled. It’s not personal — it’s simply necessary. To those who understand this and even offer to pay before we ask, we appreciate you more than you know. 🤍

I am angry and sad all at the same time, the impact this has on a small business is horrendous especially near Christmas!! So please look out for any scumbag trying to sell our products in your local pub or online.

Important Notice

We’re very saddened to share that Pure Aesthetics Clinic was broken into overnight and the premises were ransacked.

The incident has been reported to the police, and we want to reassure all our clients that no client records or personal data have been accessed.

We are open as normal and continuing with appointments as planned. We are also working behind the scenes to fully restore and secure the clinic.

If any appointments are affected, clients will be contacted directly.

From today I can no longer accept new clients as I cannot keep up with the demand for my services.
I am so sorry but at the moment I have an 8 week waiting list. And a cancellation list that has grown to capacity.
If this changes I will let you all know.
I hope you can understand that it is better to provide good regular care to my client list than stretching myself and not providing the best possible care I can.
