I thought I’d be cabin crew forever, strutting down some sort of Boeing until I was forced into retirement.

But then my beautiful boy, Zion arrived and my world flipped upside down in the best way.
I didn’t want to leave him. I especially didn’t want to leave him to do a job I had no interest in.
& so skin is in was born

Lesson 1- turn a passion into a career and you’ll never work a day in your life

Lockdown 🙃🙃🙃 it was a tough one for us all. My business wasn’t even a year old yet so I got none of the business grants most people were getting. I decided to start selling these home facial kits. I would put them outside my front door and they’d be gone in an hour. I never knew if people genuinely loved them or if they were just wanting to help out but either way I’m eternally grateful.

Lesson 2- where there’s a will there’s a way

I could see that the lip blush trend was about to completely takeover the industry. I very quickly spent £2k on a training course. The course felt rushed and I left with zero confidence. I would have sleepless nights before and after each treatment

Lesson 3- to do better research and not be impulsive

Again, saw this ‘amazing’ trend of BBglow and thought yeah I want to offer that. Did the training, did 3 clients and binned the kit. How this treatment is still going I’ll never know😂

Lesson 4- know when a treatment isn’t worth it

So randomly I went to a psychic in 2019 and she told me I would be a teacher. I rolled my eyes because the thought of teaching kids just makes me vom. Hats off to all you teachers but it’s just not for me. Fast forward 4 years and I felt this pull into facial education. I did an online court for my teaching qual and hated it so I ended up enrolling into college and doing it the long way. I prefer real time feedback so in person was always going to be better for me!
Once my courses got going, I quickly realised my room wasn’t suitable for the way I wanted things to be. Around this time is when me and my sister first started dreaming of our
