🌟 1st time waxing and not sure how long to leave the hair?

🌟 Between 2-4 weeks since you last shaved

💫 There is 3 different stages to the hair growth. And as each hair is in a different cycle it’s why we recommend 4-6 weeks between treatments. So that we can remove all hairs. The first few times having waxing it’s normal to find shorter hairs or hairs growing through sooner.
This is why after a few days or a week or two you can start to see hairs grow, we can only remove the hairs that are long enough for the wax to get hold off, it will not remove hairs under the skin.

💫 If you recently shave then you may find shorter hairs under the skin, which are too short for the wax.

💫 Hair growth needs to be size of a grain of rice, minimum is 2 weeks. I’m happy to patch test any area before we go ahead with the treatment so you can see if the hairs are long enough. Ideally I say 4 weeks.

💫 I offer a wide range of facials because everyone wants something different. This past few months I’ve been so busy with facials from Elemis pro collagen which is a relaxing spa facial that’s anti ageing and using the lovely Elemis collagen products. Microdermabrasion is my favourite facial for deep cleansing, unblocking pores and leaving skin feels fresh. Hydro facial is fabulous for hydrating skin. Collagen lift facial is for lifting and firming skin. Helping with fine lines and wrinkles. Skin peels I offer a wide range of skin peels from gentle to more abrasive, we start on a lower peel working up, it’s about resurfacing the skin and helping to achieve a more even skin tone as well as helping with a range of skin concerns too, Micro-needling is an advanced facial using fine needles to gently create micro-injury to the skin, so the skin goes into the repair mode and stimulates collagen and elastin.

SPF what are you using on your face?

💫 I’m sure I’m talking SPF in my sleep with the amount of times I’m having this conversation at the minute.

💫 Minimum is an SPF 30 and highly recommend an SPF 50 especially with this heat.

💫 I use the SPF 40 because it’s a lighter weight but when on holiday and laying in the sun I use the 50.

💫 For me using an SPF is about protecting the skin from sun damage and because sun damage is the biggest ageing factor on the skin as well as causing skin pigmentation.

💫 If your finding that your skin pigmentation is worse right now, yes that means it’s from the sun and using as SPF will help this, as well as staying out the sun and wearing a hat to protect the face.

💫 There are facials to help, but bear in mind that not all facial’s right now are recommended with the sun and the heat.

💫 I highly recommend using a separate face cream and an SPF. Face cream first and SPF on top.
