✨ **TPO BAN — WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR YOU?** ✨

You may have heard about the new **TPO ban** and wondered whether it affects your nails. Here’s what you need to know 👇

💅 **What is TPO?**
TPO (Trimethylbenzoyl Diphenylphosphine Oxide) is an ingredient that has been used in some gel, BIAB and other UV/LED-cured nail products to help them cure under a lamp.

🚫 **What’s changed?**
From **15 August 2026**, TPO has been prohibited from being newly placed on the Great Britain cosmetics market. Products already legally placed on the market before this date have a transition period until **14 February 2027**.

❤️ **What does this mean for you as a client?**

It doesn’t mean you need to stop having your nails done!

Your nail appointments can continue as normal. We’re simply making sure the products we use comply with the latest regulations and, where necessary, have been replaced with compliant formulations.
