SSL Massage Therapies is a tranquil, private home based clinic in Chapeltown, S35. As such, we do not offer a walk-in service.

Appointments must be booked online and any enquiries should be made via email 📧 to [email protected] or text/call 07443 397529. We aim to respond to all enquiries within 48 hours but delays can happen during busy times or if you get in touch on our days off.

For our personal safety and security we no longer have published opening hours. Our treatment hours are Monday - Friday but may vary and availability can be checked via the online booking system which is accessible 24/7 via our website www.sslmassagetherapies.com

But how long do we think it will be before the heated blanket has to be turned on? 🤔😆

Never be afraid to ask for the pressure to be adjusted. Communication with your massage therapist is key to a successful treatment.

What is OK at one session, may not be OK for you at your next massage.

I understand you may feel a little self-conscious when you have a massage, but please stop apologising for hairy legs, backs, armpits, face etc

My focus is on your soft tissue and your comfort, not how much body hair you have!

I'm more concerned if you rush to shave before an appointment and cut yourself. This would mean I need to wear gloves if the skin I'm massaging is broken or avoid the area completely.

If you have longer body hair, it is more likely to tangle/knot during your massage. So some people prefer to trim it a bit, though it's not a requirement. I'll probably need to use more oil or lotion during the massage.

So please, stop worrying 🙏
