Client love 🤍
As the days begin to shorten, the air cools and the season starts to turn, I find myself looking forward to the cosier days in this space .𖥔 ݁
Table warmer on, candles everywhere, extra blankets, weighted lap pad, cups of cacao tea and warming foot soaks.

A loving reminder 🤍
Many of my clients visit me for the first time when they are either experiencing some form of burnout, or are right on the verge of it.
Often they've been signed off of work with stress.
Sometimes, they've been meaning to come for a massage for quite some time, but it's as if they needed to wait for things to get almost unbearable before they felt it was justified to come and be taken care of.
To spend the money.
To prioritise themselves.
To lay down their responsibilities, burdens and to do lists and simply be held and honored in all their human messiness.
But it doesn't need to be this way! We don't need to allow it to get to this point.
It is always going to be easier to recover from life's difficulties when we face them head on, as soon as possible, from a resourced place, a full cup.
This is why regular holistic massage can be so powerful — it gives you a supported space to check in with yourself, to tune deeply into your body and its needs on a physical, emotional, mental and soul level.
A space to be poured into.
The frequency looks different for everyone according to their needs and resources.
But what's important is having that commitment to yourself, and taking this precious time out EVEN WHEN it doesn't feel like you absolutely need it.
Because by the time you feel desperate for it, you're already so far down the road.
Yout don't have to do it all alone.
You don't have to earn your rest..

The Womb Room has such a special feeling to it. Often, the first comment that women make when they walk in is how beautiful and welcoming it feels.
I truly believe that beauty heals 🦋
Not only is the space beautiful to the eye, but it is also filled with pieces that contribute to this energy and have such deep meaning to me.
Whenever I walk in, I feel supported by the women in my life 🥰
This by no means covers all of the items in this room that have a special place in my heart, but I wanted to show you just a few of them here ✨
My Elen of the Ways sculpture by Phillipa Bowers in Glastonbury.
She is illuminated at every circle, and she illuminates the way — Elen is Protectress of the Pathways; physical, mental, and spiritual.
She is the Guardian of all who journey 🧭
Elen is believed to be one of Britain’s most ancient goddesses! With roots reaching back to the Paleolithic era when deer were central to both survival and spirituality.
Little Beth had a dream, and big Beth made it come true ✨
It may have been buried for a while, but I found my way back to it.
I love having this picture up in The Womb Room, feeling the presence of little Beth in my day to day.
Drawn by an old housemate of mine, a celebration of the female form 🌹and a big step towards feeling more comfortable in my own body.
Perfectly framed by the wheat that I grew as part of Sheffield Wheat Experiment a few years ago, and flowers grown by my sister.
All of the flowers you see in The Womb room were grown and dried by my wonderful sister - a true horticultural goddess! 🌷
We made this wreath together (right here in The Womb Room) with some of them 🫶
We lost my lovely Nana 5 years ago this July 🤍
This lamp is something of hers that I use almost every day. It feels so timeless and special to me.
This little glass dish that holds your jewellery whilst you have a treatment also belonged to my Nana 💓
This is just one of the logs, branches, pinecones, stones that bring a little bit of nature magic into the space (sometimes I just can't resist bringing them home!)
This is one I have had for yeeeeears because.... Just look at it! 🦌

Join us in circle 〇
I have been holding New Moon circles in The Womb Room since November last year, and they have been organically growing in the background since then.
Under the dark of the Moon each month, eight women gather to share, listen and feel a sense of belonging.
I created this circle because I was personally longing for something that I felt I hadn't quite found yet...
We are incredibly lucky here in Sheffield to have SO many women's circles to choose from, and so many incredible women holding supportive spaces for one another (shout out to all the wonderful women at Grow Yoga | Therapeutic Yoga Space, in particular) and they all have their own unique form, energy, practices and purpose.
The circles I hold are sharing circles. There are Values and Agreements that each woman agrees to before joining, and this helps to create a deeply sacred, yet laidback space.
The practices and structure are minimal, and the focus is really on:
҉ Getting comfortable with being in silence together, and seeing what grows out of it
҉ Giving voice to whatever is on your heart and mind, sharing as little or as much as you like
҉ Actively listening to truly receive what is being shared, not to respond
҉ Reflecting on the month passed, and planting seeds for the month ahead
We are gently guided by the moon and the other planetary bodies, and I always have prompts prepared for journaling or to help support our sharing, if needed.
We now have an established group of incredible women that tend to come every month, and we often have one or two spaces open to welcome some new faces into the circle each month.
A place with strong roots, that women are welcome to flow in and out of as they need.
If this sounds like something that is missing in your life, join us 💓

Making little Beth proud 💗
I 𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘄 deep down that I had made this drawing when I was in primary school, but when I began studying holistic massage, I started to question whether I had just imagined it...
Was I 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 walking the path that 8 year old Beth had dreamed of?
How did I even know what a masseuse was when I was that young?* (𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘐 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘮 𝘔𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘸, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧𝘧)
𝗜'𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲:
Working in a hair salon from the day after my last GCSE exam (I had been desperate to get a job since I was 14 for some reason LOL) 💇♀️
Qualifying as a hairdresser, and then deciding to go back to college as a pathway to go to university
Studying Business Studies at the University of Sussex 🎓
It was at this point (11 years ago) that I started living a vegan lifestyle and made a commitment to myself to 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 work for companies that truly reflected my values from now on, which is when I started working part-time at
When I graduated, I started working for app, helping older adults get the help they need with everyday tasks and companionship 🫂
I then worked for , joining their mission to normalize talking about mental health in the workplace and democratize coaching
I started studying massage, moved to part-time and then eventually spread my wings and took the leap of faith into running my massage pratice full time 🪽
The way this work allows me to create beautiful spaces, build close connections with my fellow humans, help people to feel heard and seen, and support my local community brings me (and my Midheaven in Libra) more fulfillment & joy than I could have ever wished for.
Little Beth hoped that I would grow up to be:
Friendly
Patient
Understanding
Independent
Self-sufficient
Hardworking
Organized
Reliable
More energized 🤪
More charitable 🥹
And I really hope she would be proud of me 🫶
A loving nudge and reminder to go after your dreams, even if you need to take the long way around.
*Phoebe from Friends, that's how.
Tending to my needs before yours 🤍
We are all constantly changing and evolving, and finding what helps us to feel replenished and joyful is a lifelong journey 🌀
Will there be times when we need to push through and perhaps carry a heavier load?

But this simply cannot be sustained for long before the cracks start to show.
Ending the day feeling like I still have some fuel left in the tank is what I'm aiming for.
I feel this is especially important when you're a soul-led business owner, a therapist, or your work is something that you love.
But it's also important to all of the relationships in our lives! Including the one with yourself.
Resentment gets in the way of the sheer joy we can feel for these things when we have filled our own cup, or at least topped it up.
I acknowledge that I don't have children or any other dependents yet, and that we all have different loads and capacities — but this is precisely why it's so important to listen in, and find out what works for 𝘆𝗼𝘂.

What your body is saying no to
What your body is saying YES to
What truly fills your cup
Self care doesn't need to look the same for everyone.
Over these last few weeks, my biggest and most impactful acts of self-care have been changing my working hours and removing 60-minute sessions from my offering.
And the best bit?
When you find what's truly best for you, and honour yourself, this ripples out and has an impact on those around you.
You can be more present, and you have more to give.
What's one thing you can do this week to take better care of yourself?

This post was written by me, a human! 👋
Remembering to sloooooooow down 🐌
After a beautiful Alexander Technique session with , I'm moving through my day with more intention, awareness and ease✨
Clients often reflect back to me that I'm very calm and move at a slow, considered pace, but this isn't always the case (!) if you see me at home in my own time, I can often get carried away by the current of HURRY.
Just like everyone else, I am part of this society that rewards speed, convenience and achieving outcomes, and often makes us feel like we are falling behind.
It's an act of rebellion to slow down, and I know many people feel like they can't afford that luxury.
But the beautiful gift that slowing down brings you is that it often feels like time expands, and you feel like you have more of it.
The more present we are to our embodied experience, the richer the experience becomes, and the more we can understand about what our bodies need to feel well.
And often, many of the tasks we think we 'need' to complete fall away when we take moment to think about what's truly important. Connection, joy, a feeling of safety.
Pause.
Take a deep breath.
Check how you're holding yourself in this moment, and see if you can invite just a little 🤏 more ease.
Love ya x

Important update to my offerings and approach to my work:
Taking stock of Inner Smile's blossoming over the past two years has filled me with so much gratitude & joy, and I’ve noticed that lately, something beautiful has been naturally unfolding 🌹
Over the last six months, bookings for longer sessions (2 hours+) have been steadily growing, and it's become clear that once clients experience them, there's simply no going back.
Being given the space to truly pour my heart into these longer sessions has shown me that shorter sessions just don't allow my work to unfold the way it's meant to.
So, from 20th June 2026, I'll no longer be offering 60-minute sessions, and only a small number of 75-minute slots will be available each month, so booking ahead will be essential.
My recommended and most popular treatment time remains 90 minutes, and the most accessible way to enjoy this monthly is through The Inner Smile Club membership. I'll be opening a handful of spaces soon for 90-minute membership, and you can join the waitlist via the link in my bio to be first to hear about it.
If you have an existing 60-minute gift voucher, or a package of 60-minute sessions you can get in touch directly to book (more info on my website).
Those in the Inner Smile Club with a 60 or 75-minute membership will be able to keep these for as long as they remain a member, but I will not be backfilling any of these 60 or 75 minute spots.
Thank you as always to my incredible clients for showing up for themselves, for allowing themselves to be seen and held, and for giving me the opportunity to be in service & do my soul’s work 🙏

A gift that I have brought home with me from my recent trip to Ubud in Bali is a revitalised devotion to ritual and giving thanks 🌹
Finding meaning and beauty in life's ordinary moments
Living in the spirit of gratitude
Making offerings and reminding myself that I am not separate from the beautiful intricate web of nature
Trying to live in a more reciprocal relationship with Mother Earth 🌎
I feel so incredibly lucky to have been able to go on this trip, and to be arriving home at such a beautiful time of the year, where the return of warmth and light makes things feel that little bit easier.
I hope you're all feeling supported by Spring's rising energy 🌷
Sending love to everyone 🤍
