Looks like my new clipper blade sharpening machine works! Always great to get feedback on my work especially when I’ve done all I can to resolve an issue.

Dear all, an update regarding clipper blade sharpening. My new machine has arrived, is installed and is now up and running so I can now begin to accept clipper blades for sharpening again.
Now for the caveat, due to increased supplier costs, overheads, the extra processing involved and the cost of living I will have to raise my charge for clipper blades to £12 per set.
This is my first price increase for 8 years and only my second in 16 years.
Many thanks for your patience whilst I’ve tried to rectify this issue. 🙏🏻

To all hairdressers, barbers, pet groomers etc. I’ve had a few reports from clients of untrained people cold calling into salons offering to sharpen scissors. It’s entirely your choice whether you use them or not but be aware that I’ve had to repair and correct this ‘work’ in the past.
If you are concerned please contact me. 🙂

Dear all, unfortunately due to a machine malfunction / breakdown I am unable to sharpen any clipper blades for the time being. This will only be a temporary measure until I can replace my machine with a new one. As soon as I’m back up and running I will post here and on all my social media accounts.

Yes I am dreadful at keeping up with Facebook and always forget to post the places I’ve worked and equipment I sharpen as I use Instagram almost exclusively. However today I visited a client who’s scissors I’ve serviced and sharpened before but in her very own, new cute ‘n’ cosy Salon in Twyford near Wi******er. GS Hair. ✂️

Dear all, Sharp End will be closing on Friday 18th December for the Christmas and New Year Holiday and will not be opening until Monday January 4th 2021.
