With the temporary traffic lights outside and the Lammas Market in town, things are a little busier than usual.

🚗 Parking might take a little longer.

PLEASE DON’T USE THESE PRODUCTS ON OUR SUNBEDS! ☀️🚫

We know it can be tempting to use products you’ve seen online or ones that claim to “help you tan faster”, but many are simply not designed for sunbed use and can actually do more harm than good.

Products such as:

* Baby oil
* Nivea body lotions
* The Fox Tan
* Malibu Fast Tanning Lotion
* Shine Brown
* Dark tanning oils and body butters
* Moisturisers and other household skincare products
• JellyBean Tanning
• 2bTanned

WHY AREN’T THEY SUITABLE?

❌ They can damage the acrylic on our sunbeds – Oils and unsuitable lotions can cause cracking, staining and deterioration of the acrylic surface.

❌ They increase the risk of skin irritation and burns – Many aren’t formulated to be used under UV light and can intensify heat on the skin.

❌ They don’t contain ingredients designed for indoor tanning – Indoor tanning lotions are specifically formulated to enhance your tan while keeping your skin hydrated and protected during a sunbed session.

❌ They can leave residue on the beds – This affects hygiene standards and can impact other customers’ tanning experience.

❌ Some contain SPF or ingredients that work against tanning – Meaning you may not even achieve the results you’re hoping for.

To get the best results safely, always use a professional indoor tanning lotion that’s been specifically designed for sunbed use.

If you’re unsure whether a product is suitable, just ask a member of staff—we’re always happy to help you find the perfect lotion for your tanning goals!
