Scottish Water will carry out emergency repairs to a burst water pipe near the New Bridge at Guardbridge from 8am tomorrow (18 June).

Temporary traffic lights will be in place to allow the work to be completed safely. These will be monitored on site throughout to help minimise delays, though some disruption is expected.

Please allow extra time for your journey if you’re travelling through the area.

⚠️We’ll soon be working in Guardbridge to upgrade the gas network, keeping the gas flowing safely to homes & businesses for years to come.

To carry this work out safely, we’ll need to put traffic management in place, including:

· Two-way temporary traffic lights along Main Street for the duration of our works

· Road closure on Toll Road at its junction with Main Street and Miltonbank Crescent at is junction with Toll Road from 19 January to 13 March.

We appreciate that work in this area is sensitive and roadworks can be frustrating; we recognise this and are doing everything we can to get this essential work done as quickly and as safely as possible.
