LYMPH & LIGHT ✨
sharing a little glimpse of a lymphatic and abdominal massage I did with a client today.
As women, we often carry the weight of stress, anxiety and overwhelm in our bodies, and for many of us, we feel that in our stomach. Physically, this can show up as tight, sore abdominal muscles after training or core work. But our stomach can also reflect what’s going on emotionally. I’m sure we’ve all said, “My stomach is in knots,” before.
When we’re stressed, we often brace our core without even realising it, hold ourselves in, or breathe high into our chest instead of taking slow, deep diaphragmatic breaths. Over time, that tension can leave us feeling disconnected from our bodies.
Gentle lymphatic massage helps encourage healthy lymphatic flow, reduce bloating and support digestion, while abdominal massage works a little deeper to soften muscular tension and create space for the body to relax.
Sometimes the most healing part is simply having permission to unclench, take a full breath and literally exhale. It can feel incredibly grounding, restorative and calming for both the body & mind

A few of our favourite things that make treatments cooler & you calmer that you can do at home for free!
Apply a cold flannel to the back of your neck & wrap one around your feet
The science… these areas are the body’s “cooling points” where lots of blood vessels run close to the skin
Cooling the area is almost instant relief 🧊
Leave some cold flannels in the fridge transfer then to a bowl of iced water keep near you and apply when needed… lay down for 10mins or wrap them around whilst working from your desk!
