The older I get, the more I realise that feeling well is made up of really small things.

⏰An hour where nobody needs anything from you
And yes, sometimes, a massage! Wellbeing isn't one big, life changing thing. It's all the little moments that make you feel more like yourself again. If you've been neglecting those moments lately, this is your reminder to make a bit of room for them. 🤍🌿

"I didn't realise how much I needed this."
I hear this SO often. Honestly? I think it’s because we get so used to feeling stressed, tense and tired that it becomes our normal.
Aching shoulders become "just part of work."
A tight neck becomes "one of those things."
Feeling exhausted becomes "just being busy."
But your body shouldn't have to put up with being uncomfortable all the time. Sometimes all it takes is one hour in the treatment room to remember what relaxed actually feels like again. 🤍

This heatwave might have us all feeling a little sluggish but if you’re pregnant, you’ll know the warmer weather can make those everyday aches feel even more noticeable.

July has a funny way of making us think we should be doing it all.
The days are longer, the calendar fills up, everyone seems to be off on adventures and suddenly we're running from one thing to the next without stopping to catch our breath.
This is your reminder that summer doesn't have to be hectic. It's okay to slow down. It's okay to take an hour for yourself. It's okay to choose rest, even when the world feels busy. A massage isn't just about easing tired muscles; it's about creating a little pocket of calm in the middle of a very full life.

Let’s be honest, sports massage can have its moments😅
Especially when Katie finds that one spot in your calves, hamstrings or quads that makes you think, “Ooh there it is.”
It might ni**le a little in the moment, but there’s a reason for it. Tight muscles, built up tension and overworked tissue sometimes need a little extra attention to release.
The aim isn’t to make you grit your teeth, it’s to help you move better, recover faster, and stop those little ni**les becoming bigger problems!

Self care doesn't have to be all or nothing.
You don't need a week at a spa.
You don't need the perfect morning routine.
You don't need to suddenly become someone who drinks three litres of water and meditates at sunrise.

It can be really useful to set an alarm, pop up a post it note or have some kind of reminder to reset yourself as it can be so hard to remember whilst you’re working away! 💻

Social media can be a funny old place. One minute you're watching a recipe video, the next you're somehow deep into videos of baby goats and home renovations. 😅
