I cannot get over that it's been a year since I started this journey, and bloody hell what a year it's been 😂

I wish I could go back to 2025 Nikki and tell her just how good things are now, and how naturally we settled into the nail tech role 🥹

I still can't believe this is what I do for a living, it baffles me every single day that I get to do nails everyday and also that people not only let me draw on their nails but they PAY ME to do it!!! 🤯

I'm so unbelievably proud of myself for what I've built and everything I've achieved 😭 And I couldn't have done it without the amazing people around me, particularly nail tech community | membership | events &

Also, fun fact, my beaut studio was featured in SCRATCH - The world’s #1 resource for nails only 1 month after it was built 🤯 Something I'm still convinced was some kind of fever dream 😂😂

And so begins the second year of the Nikki Nailed it studio 🥹

I love how Instagram does this thing now where it deletes the caption you write when you go to schedule a post 😠😠

I'm a bit late on this trend, but for very good reason...

This is the post I've been building up to writing since 2023, because thinking about my younger self used to be way too painful.

I saw other people creating these posts, and longed for the day when I felt strong enough to write my own. Today is that day 💜

Ater 3 years of therapy and a huge upheaval of my life, I'm coming out the other side stronger and better than ever 💪
