Dreadlum dreadlocks by Sarah

Before and after from today’s session. This is only the second time I have seen this client. The first session a few months ago we worked a lot on fixing dreads that had been interlocked, and removing synthetic extensions and replacing them with human hair extensions. Today we focused on removing the last of the synthetic extensions and extending remaining dreadlocks with human hair extensions. We also tidied her roots as she had a lot of new growth. I am very happy with the progress that has been made in such a short space of time. 🌞

Some root maintenance for Stasia today ✨

This was an absolute mission! Root to tip maintenance especially working on the joins between the natural dreadlocks and the dreadlock extensions. Plus a complete restoration on some dreadlocks that had been maintained with the interlocking method. Client had previously been to a loctician for maintenance who had interlocked the dreadlock. The client had managed to undo most of the work, however there was a portion of dreadlocks that were so knotted she was unable to undo them.
Extremely pleased with the results of this session ✨

The evolution of Vickys dreadlocks over the last five years. When I made her first set they were bright pink and a little on the thicker side, but over the years they had gotten so long and even thicker that she made the decision to brush them all out and start over! She wanted a lot of thinner dreadlocks with open ends. She is now rocking 70 mermaid locks with very long open ends, and they suit her so well ✨🌞
