Today is a special day for more than one reason ❤️
Not only is it Father's Day, but it's also been 12 months since I took the leap and started The Milly Edit.
What a year it's been. There have been highs, lows, moments where I've questioned myself, and moments where I've been so proud I could burst. Building a business whilst juggling family life is no easy task, but looking back, I can honestly say it's one of the best things I've ever done.
And I couldn't let today pass without thanking two very important men who have helped make it possible.
My dad, who has been there from from day one. If something needed doing, fixing, building or figuring out, he was there. No questions asked. His support, encouragement and belief in me have meant more than he'll ever know.
And my husband, who has stood beside me every step of the way. The late nights, the early mornings, the endless ideas, the stress, the self-doubt... he's been there through it all. Supporting me, encouraging me and picking up the slack at home so I could chase this dream.
The Milly Edit may have my name above the door, but I definitely haven't built it alone.
So today I'm celebrating one year in business and two amazing dads who have helped make it happen.
Thank you for believing in me when I didn't always believe in myself ❤️
