18 Years Old Today. ✂️🎉

Mad when you think about it...

18 years ago today we unlocked the doors for the first time. Since then we've seen trends come and go, put the world to rights from behind the chair, asked a million ridiculous "Would You Rather?" questions, watched kids grow into adults, welcomed the next generation into the shop, and celebrated some of life's biggest milestones alongside both our staff and our customers.

If you've ever walked through our door, had a trim, joined in with the banter, or recommended us to a mate... you're the reason we're still here.

As we celebrate turning 18, we're also facing a big change. After nearly two decades in the same shop, we're having to move. It won't be easy saying goodbye to a place that's been home for so many years and holds so many memories, but we're excited for what's next.

The address might be changing, but the team, the clippers, the banter, and everything that makes The Lads Pad what it is, is coming with us.

A massive thank you to every customer who's supported us over the last 18 years. Whether you've been with us since the beginning or you've only just found us, you've all played a part in our story.

A special thankyou to for letting us use the space in the salon, so that we can carry on with business until we find out what's happening with the shop. It's working out perfectly.

Unfortunately, yesterday ( Sunday 8th March) there was a large electrical fire in the building above the barbershop.

Luckily the barbershop was not damaged in anyway, however due to the damage the fire has done to the whole building it has left us without electricity and unable to return to the building until safety checks have been carried out by professionals and mains electricity has been reinstalled .

We are currently waiting for an update as to when this will be, but hopefully, it shouldn't be too long.

We have temporarily disabled bookings until we have any updates.

For anyone who's already booked in with us, we will be in touch with you over the next few days.
