Grey “ Blending “ is the big buzz in hair colour right now.


But how do we get there ?

Well every journey starts with a single step.

The first thing is to decide what the overall results are going to be and then work out how much time, how many appointments and how much financial commitment it is going to need.

This client was not looking to go grey completely. She simply wanted to get out of the rut of colouring her roots every four weeks to still see grey come through and have to start the process again.

We used a mixture of different levels of lighter along with different weave techniques.

As her hair is much more white just at the front we knew we would not get a completely seamless blend, however we were able to soften the colour and hopefully over a few appointments we will really see the changes happening.
The overall aim is for her to be able to have colour every 3 to 4 months.

It goes from bad to worse 🫣 no water last week and now this !

Well considering we did a toner and squeezed into her shower to wash it off she was pleased with the results.

This afternoon I attended the funeral service for this incredible lady.
A client of mine for many years who passed at 103 years!
She was a ray of sunshine in every way, funny, bright and never without her lipstick and a wink for the boys.
As hairstylists people often become a big part of our lives without even knowing it.
This lady was no exception and she will be greatly missed.
One of her favourite movies was Sunset Boulevard, I love it too.
She too is now ready for her closeup with the big big man.
