A little insight into the chaos that is my brain 😂

I didn’t realise how many of the things I do every single day were linked to my ADHD until I actually started thinking about it.

The same song 400 times, buying people presents because I physically cannot wait until their birthday, having my best ideas when I should be asleep, 60 tabs open… but deleting them because looking at them stresses me out 😂

Some parts drive me mad, some make me laugh and some I actually really love about myself.

I’m still learning what works for me and how to manage it all… but I wouldn’t be me without a bit of chaos 😂

Please tell me I’m not the only one who does some of these? x

The internet is a dangerous place when you’re comparing your behind-the-scenes to someone else’s highlight reel 😂

Yes, I run a clinic, still work as a nurse and somehow keep all the plates spinning. I also have 600 tabs open in my brain, reply to my friends within 3–5 working days and apparently only discover motivation when everyone else has gone to bed.

There’s a LOT you don’t see behind a polished Instagram feed.

So if you’ve ever looked at someone online and thought, “How have they got it all together?”… they probably haven’t. None of us have!😂 We’re all just doing our best with our own version of chaos behind the scenes.

don’t think people realise how much is going on in my head at any given time 😂

I can run a clinic, work in the NHS and keep on top of a million things… but I can also make too many plans, get overwhelmed by the plans I made myself, play the same song 47 times and suddenly become my most productive self at 10pm😂

ADHD is part of how my brain works, but it isn’t all of who I am. I’m still learning what works for me, and learning that sometimes saying “no” is part of that too. 🤍

Please tell me I’m not the only one whose brain suddenly clocks in for work at bedtime?! 😂
