☀️ Why cleansing matters — especially in summer
During warmer weather, our skin is exposed to increased sweat, SPF, makeup, oil and everyday environmental build-up. If these aren’t removed properly, skin can begin to feel congested and look dull.

Then came microneedling…
Once the skin was thoroughly cleansed and prepared, I performed a microneedling treatment.
Microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries within the skin, stimulating its natural repair response and encouraging the production of collagen and elastin. The redness you can see immediately afterwards is an expected temporary response to the treatment and stimulation of the skin.

Upper Face Rejuvenation | Consultation, Treatment & Review ✨

The Consultation�The client’s goal was to soften prominent forehead lines and create a smoother, more refreshed appearance to the upper face, without compromising natural movement or expression.

On assessment, horizontal forehead lines were more pronounced across the upper forehead, with increased frontalis activity on the client’s left side and mild pre-existing brow asymmetry.

The Treatment Approach�No two faces move in exactly the same way, which is why every treatment plan is completely bespoke.

Careful consideration was given to the client’s facial anatomy, frontalis and glabellar activity, brow position, elevation and natural facial balance.
A refined, conservative approach was chosen to delicately soften the forehead whilst maintaining expression and supporting the natural brow position. Treatment was tailored asymmetrically to reflect the difference in muscular activity between each side, rather than adopting a one-size-fits-all approach.

The 2-Week Review�At review, the forehead had softened beautifully, creating a smoother, fresher and more balanced appearance whilst retaining natural movement. As some lines were more established, complete resolution was not expected following a single treatment. A subtle refinement was carried out at today’s review to optimise the final result.
