I genuinely don’t know what to say. 🥹
The Maykup Club has been named a Regional Finalist for Wedding Makeup Artist of the Year 2027 – North East & Yorkshire in The Wedding Industry Awards. 🏆✨
And honestly… this one means a LOT.
I entered this knowing just how many incredibly talented artists are out there, and I’ve spent the last few weeks wondering whether my work, my words, my approach and everything that makes The Maykup Club The Maykup Club would be enough.
Turns out… it was. 🥹
This isn’t just about the makeup.
It’s about every bride who has sat in my chair and trusted me with one of the biggest mornings of her life.
The conversations.
The laughs.
The nerves.
The dancing. 😂
The tears.
The “OMG I LOVE IT.”
The “I still look like me.”
The confidence.
The connection.
THAT is what I entered.

This look on Natasha’s bridesmaid, Susan, is EVERYTHING. 😮💨
Grace created the most beautifully radiant, timeless makeup — soft, luminous skin, that gorgeous glazed cheek and just the right amount of depth and dimension to bring everything together.
It’s giving Disney princess… but grown-up. 👑✨
And THIS is what I love about makeup.
You can create something soft and romantic without it becoming flat or one-dimensional. The glow, the placement, the colour and the depth all work together to enhance what’s already there.
