A great example of why regular foot care is so important — particularly for clients living with diabetes.
This client presented with a build-up of hard, dry skin around the heel, along with cracked heels. During the medical pedicure, the excess hard skin was carefully reduced and the feet were treated to leave the skin smoother and more comfortable.
For someone with diabetes, foot care is about much more than appearance. Changes to circulation and sensation can mean that small cracks, pressure areas or injuries may not always be noticed straight away and can potentially develop into more serious problems.
Regularly checking your feet, keeping the skin moisturised and seeking professional advice when you notice cracks, wounds, redness, swelling or other changes can make a real difference.
Healthy feet are important feet. 🤍
