BODY SCULPTING ISN’T FOR EVERYONE… AND HERE’S WHY! 👀

At SOVA Body Studio, a consultation and health screening is important before starting treatment.

Who might not be suitable?

• Pregnant clients – Most body sculpting treatments are avoided during pregnancy.

• People with pacemakers or implanted electronic devices – Electromagnetic muscle stimulation and certain RF treatments can interfere with these devices.

• People with metal implants – Some treatments may be unsuitable depending on the implant’s location and the technology used.

• People with heart conditions – Certain treatments may be contraindicated or require medical clearance.

•People with active cancer – Treatment generally needs to be deferred or discussed with the treating medical team.

•People with blood clots or a history of DVT – Particularly important when considering massage, vacuum therapy and lymphatic drainage.

•People with certain liver or kidney conditions – These may affect suitability for some body contouring treatments.

•People with infections, open wounds or inflamed skin – Treatment over affected areas should be avoided.

•People who have recently had surgery – Adequate healing and sometimes medical clearance are required.

At SOVA, client safety comes before anything else. 🤎

This is why the consultation is so important - for example, someone unsuitable for EMScuplt might still be suitable for another treatment.
This is why I believe in tailoring every treatment to the individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all 🤍
