One of the easiest ways to improve your application? Get your prep right.

My go-to prep combo is kind removal blue silicone tape - I usually order mine from Medisave.

A few prep rules I never skip:

• Pads OFF the waterline - too close can cause the gel to congeal and become uncomfortable for your client.

• Your pads don’t need to cover every bottom lash. That’s what your tape is for.

• Use pads with a corner cut out for easier positioning. No cut out? Snip a small triangle yourself.

• Once positioned, eyes stay closed to prevent the pads moving.

• Lift the eyelid gently and use tweezers to place your tape, securing any bottom lashes that aren’t covered.

• Check for lifting, gaps or exposed lashes. Your pads & tape should sit seamlessly before you start.

The goal? Every bottom lash secured, zero readjusting and a smooth canvas to lash over. 🤌🏼

It’s a small part of the appointment, but good prep = a better application, better retention and a much more comfortable experience for your client.
