Wavy hair extensions. No styling needed.
My natural hair is wavy, so of course my extensions need to be wavy too.
This is what a proper texture match looks like when the hair actually moves. No styling, no curls added — just my natural hair and wavy extensions moving together.
For me, a perfect blend isn’t only about matching the colour. The texture has to match too.
Not every transformation needs extra length.
Sometimes the biggest difference comes from adding volume in the right places.
For this client, we kept the result soft and natural while creating fuller ends and a brighter overall look. The tiny custom keratin bonds stay discreet, allowing the extensions to blend beautifully with fine hair.
The goal is never for people to notice the extensions. The goal is for them to notice your hair.

Every bond is made with intention.
How low the bond sits.
How it’s rolled.
The colour of the keratin.
The size of the natural hair section compared to the extension strand.
None of these decisions are random.
Each one affects how comfortable the extensions feel, how naturally they move, how well they’re hidden, and how they grow out over the next few months.
Tiny bonds alone don’t make a great installation. It’s the attention to every tiny detail that does.
Most people only see the finished result. I see hundreds of small decisions that make that result possible.

This client came to me for a consultation wearing tape extensions fitted elsewhere.
The problem was visible straight away.
The extensions didn’t match her natural hair.
Not in colour. Not in texture.
Her natural hair had a soft wave to it, while the extensions were much straighter, cooler in tone and heavier through the ends. The result looked disconnected rather than blended.
We talked through what wasn’t working and what would create a more natural result long term.
The new set was customised to match her natural texture, colour and density much more closely.
Because hair extensions shouldn’t just look good when they’re freshly styled.
They should still look natural after washing, in the rain, on humid days and when worn exactly as your own hair would be.
For me, colour, texture and placement will always matter more than length.
I get asked about my curls all the time, and people are always surprised when I say this takes me around 5 minutes.
I split my hair into two sections, curl away from my face, soften the curls with my fingers and a little hairspray, and that’s it.
One of my favourite things about extensions is how well they hold a style. Once they’re done, these curls will usually last me around a week, which makes getting ready so much easier.
I don’t know if anyone else finds this fascinating, but I could honestly watch this all day.
What you’re looking at is one single ponytail. One person’s hair.
The texture itself is incredibly rare to come across naturally, especially without any chemical processing. These curls haven’t been relaxed, permed or reshaped. This is simply how the hair grew.
One thing people often don’t realise is that when a ponytail is cut, it doesn’t magically become 22 inches from top to bottom. Hair from different areas of the head grows to different lengths. That’s why you’ll see me separating it into smaller bundles and why they all look slightly different.
Factory-prepared hair arrives neatly packaged in one chosen length. This isn’t that.
This is the messy, time-consuming part that nobody sees. Sorting it, understanding it, respecting how it naturally wants to fall before I even begin preparing it for a client.
And honestly… it’s one of my favourite parts of the whole process.
Because no two ponytails are ever the same.
And neither are the sets I create.
For this client, it wasn’t just about matching the perfect hair texture — it was also about creating a completely customised fit.
Due to bleach damage, the hair around her crown was much shorter than the rest. To achieve a seamless blend, I had to place the extensions high enough to cover the shorter layers, but not so high that the bonds would become visible.
The size of each extension strand is never chosen at random. It always depends on the result we need to achieve. For thick, dense hair, larger strands are often necessary to create enough volume and balance. For fine hair, I use the smallest strand size possible to avoid adding unnecessary weight and to keep the hair looking and feeling natural.
Beautiful extensions are not just about the hair itself — they are about knowledge, precision, and customisation.
If you have naturally curly hair, you probably know how difficult it is to find extensions that truly blend.
Most curly extensions on the market are permed or processed to create a curl pattern. This transformation was created using virgin curly hair — hair that has never been coloured, chemically treated, or altered in any way. Rare, beautiful, and incredibly natural.
But finding the right hair is only half of the process.
With hair this thick, dense, and curly, there is no standard placement pattern. Every bond is customised to the client’s density, texture, curl pattern, and haircut to create a result that looks and feels completely natural.
Curly hair deserves more than extensions that simply match the curl. It deserves a fully customised approach.
Unique hair requires a unique approach.
A lot of clients come to me after trying nano beads…
And the feedback is almost always the same —
too visible, uncomfortable, and heavier than expected.
The difference comes down to customisation.
And with nanos, that’s simply not possible.
The strands are pre-made, the tips are bulkier,
and a metal ring is needed to secure them —
which adds unnecessary weight to your natural hair.
And when it comes to extensions, weight matters.
My custom keratin bonds are created individually on the day of fitting —
smaller, lighter, and designed to blend seamlessly.
I don’t follow trends — I choose what gives the best result.

Today’s focus was volume, not length.
My client has very fine hair, especially around the front, so I used very small customised keratin bonds to keep everything lightweight and natural.
Extensions can do much more than just add length — they can create fullness and beautiful colour dimension.
