Evening all well not long now till we are open now.
Everything is in place for opening in the morning at 8am.
Just a reminder all hair must be washed before coming into the salon for cuts or cut & blow drys please.
Please follow the rules for everything to run smoothly.
Come on time for your appointments if not a little early & not late.
Both myself Steve & Kim are looking forward to seeing you all over the coming days & weeks.

Hi all, we have now got everything in place to open. Put the screens up today.
Along with everything else needed to open.
So both myself & Kim will be ready to start back to work Saturday 4th July.
We will be back in salon on Friday 3rd July for another hour to take appointments. From 1pm till 2pm
There is a £4 increase on all salon services due to ever increasing costs, rent, stock, PPE etc.
We are really sorry about this.
But as you all know we have and probably still will be one of the cheapest salons in Telford offering a full professional services at great prices.
(With no price increases for about 5years)

Notes ...

1. On taking appointments we need to ask a few questions about what you require. And advise what you need to do prior to your visit
Which will mean if you just want a haircut. Your hair MUST be washed prior to visit. (Dry cuts will be no longer for now sorry)
If you can not wash your hair prior Please book in for a Wash & Cut.
All other services will be Done as normal.
And we will need to take your contact number (Which we need to store for 21 days)

2. We ask that all clients come on time to their appointments not overly early & not to late.
(Please wait outside until you are asked to come in salon.) And to wear a FACE MASK.
(Cloth fully lined washable ones can be purchased in the salon for £2 & we have several designs ask to purchase one whilst outside the salon & we will bring to you.

3. On arrival to salon appointment..

Please wait on the step which is marked outside the salon. As we will need to take your temperature via contactless forehead thermometer)

If temperature is above normal we will not be allowed to let you enter the salon .
“All clients & staffs temperature will be recorded daily and stored out of sight to conform with the the data protection act”

4.once entering the salon you will see the next floor sticker asking you to wait here.

At this point you will have the option to use Both sanitation points or just the Sanitizer provided.
We have provided both the hand wash & the hand sanitiser.
As we want you to feel as safe as possible.
Depending on what service you are booked in for. Please wait for your stylist to come & take you either to the wash basin or to a section for your service.

5. Unfortunately we will not be able to offer beverages or magazines to browse through.

6. All staff will be wearing the appropriate PPE
(Which will be changed after each client)
And all tools will be sanitised and floors moped after each client.

7. Please allow us time to do this, this is why it is essential that you turn up to your appointments on time.

8. On completion of the service we will direct you to the Till point which we have a Perspex screen in front of & you will see another floor sign asking you to wait there.
We will still be taking cash & cheques along with a card machine. (Please bear with us as this machine is new to us both & if we run into a problem with it... it’s advised to bring either cash or a cheque)

9. Ventilation is important in the salon. And is advised by the government to adhere to.
We have got floor fans & door & windows will be open. ( please note if it is raining door will be closed but windows will be open & floor fans on)
Please wear the appropriate clothing to what weather it is.

10. PLease contact the salon prior to your appointment if you are showing any signs or symptoms of COVID-19

Hi all, just to let you all know I will be in the salon tomorrow from 2pm - 4pm to take calls for appointments I can imagine its going to be a very busy couple of hours. So bear with me. As when making the bookings will need to conduct a consultation & take down details from you like contact numbers & Address.
Will also give out times when I am in on Monday to take Bookings also tomorrow night.

Well this afternoon the salon has been professionally cleaned from top to bottom. Everything is Covid -19 cleaned & done.
Hope to pop into the salon tomorrow or Sunday and put other things in place now.
Will let you know when I’m there and can start taking some appointments from you all.
Regular weekly clients slots will still remain in place.
May need to alter few times with cleaning after each client.
But be sure we will get you all done & all other customers.
Keep an eye out on posts as when I will be in salon this weekend to take booking.
And also from next week will be in the salon daily for a couple of hours to take appointments then.
Will make a post on Sunday to what time I will be in on Monday.

Hi all just some information so you can look at.
Things may change on this, But we request customers to either come in to the salon with there own Face masks to cut down costs of price increase in the salon.
Hairdressers must also wear a protective visor that extends below their chin, but do not need to wear an additional face mask.

Customers can choose to wear a face covering if they wish to but this is not mandatory. ( But to keep everyone SAFE we request you do) Unless for Health reasons.!
Fabric washable Face mask will be available to purchase in the salon for £2 each but will need to purchase before entering the salon.
We will make sure your visit will be safe & enjoyable as possible.
We will still take cash payments but also have a card machine.
All Magazines will be removed from the Salon & there will be No Drinks facility in the salon anymore.
But feel free to bring your own,
They have reduced the 2m rule now down to 1m rule.
We are still going to keep to the 2m rule regarding waiting area etc.
we will be offering all salon services right now.
And a consultation must be made over the phone prior to booking.
As we have to cut down chat to Minimal.

Key notes what will be expected from when we open.
There Will be a PRICE increase to cover never ending costs of RENT going UP And ever increasing prices of stock & covering PPE in the salon.
As we have Always BEEN very Affordable salon to visit.
There will Be a Price increase On Most services from £4
So Sorry about that. But we Need to cover our costs.!

1, On entering the salon we will need to record your temperature via A Non Contact Forehead Infrared Thermometer ( If it is above Normal we will not be able to continue with the service)

2, Customers should be encouraged to wash or sanitise their hands as they enter the premises or before a treatment.

3, All Jewellery must be removed before entering the salon.

4. When visiting the salon, markings on the floor will show where people should sit, and customers will be encouraged to turn up to their appointment exactly on time rather than congregating in waiting areas.

5.If there is a queue, this should be outside with social distancing in place, and people should aim to attend appointments on their own.

6.Customers can expect to be seated away from others and side-to-side, with at least one metre (and preferably two) between themselves and other clients.

7. Till points will have perspex screens between customers and cashiers, and doors and windows will be kept open to increase ventilation.( We will still be taking cash also along with card)

8. We will be using disposable items where necessary, But will be wearing PVC Aprons that we can clean & be disinfected in between each client.

9. We will need to take details off all clients once making an appointment including Address & contact number. And will be Kept for 21 days.
This would enable NHS Test and Trace to easily contact anyone who has been in close contact with an infected individual, telling them to self-isolate.

Anyone with even mild symptoms will be told to stay at home and self-isolate.

10. We have put Screens in place prior to opening

11 On Friday 26th June we have a cleaning company coming into the salon to do a full COVID- 19 clean of the salon

12. There will be NO walk in appointments all appointments must be made prior to the day. ( Where we can have a CONSULTATION over the phone to what you need & advise )

13. It will HELP US if you could already come with pre washed hair. We CAN NOT DO ANYONES HAIR THAT HAS NOT BEEN WASHED PRIOR!
But we will still be able to WASH your hair at the basin but will be one at a time.

Just awaiting to hear all the small print from the government.
But will be in salon next week hours & days to be arranged yet to take appointments.
