Unwanted facial hair can be a very personal and sensitive subject, and for some people, it can have a real impact on their confidence and everyday life.

Whether you're experiencing hormonal changes, going through menopause, struggling with stubborn chin or upper lip hairs, or you're transgender and looking for permanent facial hair removal as part of your transition, I want you to know that you're always welcome at Revive Beauty Lounge.

Electrolysis is a method of permanent hair removal that works by treating individual hair follicles. It's suitable for all skin tones and can treat hairs of all colours, including blonde, grey, white and red hairs that laser treatments may struggle to target.

I understand that everyone's journey is different. Some people have spent years plucking, shaving or trying different methods of hair removal. Others may be taking an important step towards feeling more comfortable in their own skin.

Whatever your reason, my approach will always be the same.

No embarrassment. No judgement. Just understanding, respect, confidentiality and personalised care.

Treatments are tailored to your individual needs, and because hair grows in different stages, a course of appointments is usually required to achieve permanent results.

Do you know how often I hear something like this from my lovely clients, especially ladies in their late 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond?

“I wish I'd started having facials years ago.”

And every time I hear those words, I think about how many ladies spend years doing exactly that. ❤️

Looking after the children, the family, the house, the job… making sure everyone else is happy.

And somewhere along the way, they forget about themselves.

They keep saying…

“I'll do something for myself when things quieten down.”

“When I've got more time.”

“When everyone else is sorted.”

But ladies, can I tell you something?

Life doesn't suddenly become less busy just because we need a break. ❤️

That's something I feel more passionate about than ever.

Sometimes a client arrives for a facial, but what she really needs is an hour where nobody needs anything from her.

And it's also why I've become so passionate about Skin Recoding.

Because I believe looking after ourselves on the outside and making time for our inner wellbeing can go beautifully hand in hand.

Now, before you think I've completely lost the plot… 🤣🤣

Back in September, while away on a business trip, I spotted this bottle in the bathroom.

And of course, being me, I had to take a picture! 😂

I remember thinking, “I have absolutely no idea what I'm going to use this for, but I'm sure it'll come in handy one day!”

Well… today is that day! 🤣❤️

Because when I looked at those words again, I realised something.

Don't we all need someone to hold our hand sometimes?

Not necessarily physically, but someone who cares enough to ask how we're REALLY doing.

Someone who listens, encourages us and reminds us that we matter too. ❤️

Ladies, can I ask you something?

When was the last time you felt completely happy within yourself?

Not just because something nice happened, but genuinely peaceful, content and comfortable being YOU.

Because sometimes life gets so busy that we don't even realise how much we're carrying.

The sleepless nights. The constant overthinking. Menopause, heartbreak, grief or stress.

Or simply that strange feeling that somewhere along the way, you've lost yourself.

And yet we still smile and tell everyone we're fine.
