🔸Just waxed skin can sometimes look like this !
It’s the skins natural reaction to having hair removed and it can be perfectly normal to look like this , nothing to worry about . It will settle within the next few hours .
BUT ….. it’s so important to listen and to carry out the aftercare instructions you are given .
🔶Immediately after waxing (first 24–48 hours)
* Avoid:
* Gym/workouts
* Hot baths, saunas, steam rooms
* Tight clothing
* Intimate contact
* Keep the area:
* Clean
* Cool
* Dry
* Do not touch or pick the skin
* Apply Terminator after every shower .

* Gentle exfoliation 24–48 hours prior
(removes dead skin and helps prevent ingrowns)
* Avoid broken, irritated, or compromised skin
Arrive clean (reduces bacterial load)

Before I carry out an intimate wax, I want to understand you and your skin — not just the area being waxed.
A consultation allows me to ask about:
• Your skin type and any current skin concerns
• Previous waxing or hair-removal experiences
• Allergies and sensitivities
• Any medications or treatments you are taking
• Hormonal changes or conditions that may influence hair growth and skin sensitivity
• Previous reactions to waxing or skincare products
• Any relevant medical or skin conditions
• Your expectations and what you would like to achieve
💊 MEDICATION MATTERS
Some medications can affect the skin’s strength, sensitivity, healing response or ability to tolerate waxing.
This is why I may ask about prescribed medication, topical treatments and certain skincare products.
It doesn’t mean you automatically can’t be waxed.
It simply means I need the right information so I can make an informed decision about whether waxing is appropriate and, where necessary, adapt the treatment or recommend that you speak with your healthcare professional first.
