🕯️ Joining the Wave of Light 🕯️

Tonight, we join together for the International Wave of Light, a globally recognized event to commemorate all the babies lost through miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant death.
At 7:00 PM (in your respective time zone), we will light a candle and let it burn for at least one hour, creating a continuous chain of light across the world, symbolizing that these precious lives were loved and will never be forgotten.

This is a quiet, profound act of remembrance. If you are participating, please feel free to share an image of your lit candle in the comments below and say your babies names. 😓

Let’s flood this thread with light and love for all the babies gone too soon, and for the families who hold them in their hearts.

🕯️WAVE OF LIGHT - 15th October 2026 7PM 🕯️

Today is a day for remembrance, for honoring the little ones who left us too soon. The “Wave of Light” at 7 PM is a beautiful way to unite globally in love and support. As we light our candles, let’s also remember to be kind to ourselves.
This journey of grief is intensely personal, and it’s perfectly okay to step back, to take a break from social media, and to allow yourself the space and time to reflect and heal. There’s no right or wrong way to grieve, so listen to what you need and be gentle with your heart. You are not alone.

🤍✨

I NEED YOU!

Little Lights has been nominated!!

What started from personal heartbreak has grown into a community where bereaved parents can feel understood, supported and less alone. A place where our babies’ names can be spoken, their lives celebrated, and their memories kept alive. 🕊️🤍

Through Little Lights, we support bereaved families across Walsall, raise awareness of baby loss, organise remembrance events, and fundraise to improve the care and support available to families experiencing the loss of a baby. This has included donations of cuddle cots, privacy prams and essential items to Walsall Manor Hospital’s bereavement facilities, helping families during some of the darkest moments of their lives.

Little Lights was created from the deepest heartbreak imaginable After experiencing the devastation of losing my own son, Layton, I wanted to turn my pain into purpose and create something meaningful for other families facing the unimaginable reality of baby and child loss.

What started from personal heartbreak has grown into a community where bereaved parents can feel understood, supported and less alone. A place where our babies’ names can be spoken, their lives celebrated, and their memories kept alive. 🕊️🤍

Little Lights is more than a support group. It is a community built on love, understanding and the belief that no family should have to navigate grief alone. Every family matters, every baby matters, and every little light deserves to shine. ✨

Everything we do comes from the heart, and seeing families find comfort, connection and understanding through Little Lights means more than words could ever explain.

❤️ If you believe in what Little Lights stands for, please take a moment to nominate us for Community Organisation of the Year.

want to say a big thankyou to the amazing Midwifery students at Wolverhampton University- who have taken their time to reach out to me. They are currently within their third year of course and finally exploring the world of bereavement. While learning about this via lectures- they have kindly reached out to ask me for my thoughts and experiences within bereavement and what makes the difference from midwives that are due to be our next gen. This is incredible and so important to reach out and to ask experiences of the people who it means the most too.. Us. Bereaved families, im so honoured to be able to sit and share my story and experience, but also share some experiences from families i have met along in this journey wether good or bad. This is what shapes the future of our care within hospitals and i am incredibly thankful they are considering real and raw emotions into the mix of their learning!

Thankyou again to the Wolverhampton Midwifery Society!

In October, our hearts turn to remembrance. This October is a time to honor and acknowledge the profound grief of pregnancy and infant loss that many carry.

For every hope held, every dream imagined, and every tiny life that touched our hearts, we remember.

We remember those who were only with us for a moment, those who never arrived in our arms, those who arrived but couldn’t stay, and those who stayed for a short time. Each one leaves an indelible mark of love.

You are not alone in your grief. To all the parents, families, and loved ones navigating this journey, we see you, we support you, and we remember with you. May we all find comfort in community and the enduring power of love together . 🤍🩵🩷

Remember to light a candle 15th October at 7PM. This is global act of remembrance allows bereaved families to commemorate babies lost too soon, and you can join the community by sharing a photo of your candle on social media using
