✨ A little business update – I’m coming to Biddulph! ✨

I’m really excited to share that from September I’ll be offering treatments from a lovely new wellness centre in Biddulph.

Over the years, my work has gradually evolved from traditional massage and soft tissue therapy towards a more gentle, whole-body and nervous-system focused approach.

At Biddulph, my main focus will be Spinal Flow, alongside personalised therapeutic bodywork where appropriate.

🌿 Spinal Flow is a gentle, hands-on approach designed to help the body release areas of tension and encourage greater ease and relaxation. It's quite different from massage, and I'll be sharing much more about how it works over the next few weeks.

I'm really looking forward to becoming part of the new wellness centre and bringing this next chapter of my work to Biddulph.

What does it take to achieve your dreams?

A lot of patience, determination, discipline, sacrifice and resilience.

After five and a half years of studying I am getting very close to completing my chiropractic degree.

The last two years were especially difficult with moving house twice, having a child, losing best friend due to illness, losing a dog 🐕, becoming single mum, juggling work and college.

And yet, here I am.
Clinic exit exam passed with amazing score. Yay!!!
Dissertation submitted. ( My research supervisor called it excelled piece of work. Yupiee!! 🥳)
Submitting my clinic portfolio tomorrow, on the last day at the college clinic.

It has been life changing journey.
And I am forever grateful for all the people that showed support and kindness during that time.
And I am forever grateful to all my clients who stood by me when I had to change appointments and move dates and locations etc.
Thank you !!!

And to whoever reads this post- reaching your dreams may not be easy. It may be actually extremely hard at times. But keep going. You won't feel the sleepless nights exhaustion in years time, but you will certainly enjoy the life you created for yourself.

And no, you don't need to find the right path straight away. Take the first step in the direction that feels ALIGNED with you. The path will unfold for you.

From The Ishta Centre in Stone.
You can book with me on Wednesdays and Fridays.

The prices for the treatment in Stone will remain the same as they're at the moment.

On Tuesdays I will be providing mobile services in Nantwich/ Wychwood area.
The prices are £65 for an hour appointment and £85 for and hour and a half.

Gentle exercise is what I often recommend to my clients as a part of their journey to restore healthy movement of their body.

Many people come to me with head forward posture and rounded shoulders.
This is one of my favourite exercise that helps to adress these issues.

I call it "Wall Angels" 😊

To be able to do this exercise, ensure that you can get into the initial posture comfortably. This is very important!

If you can't put the back of your arms, forearms and hands flat against the wall while standing with your heels, buttocks, back of your head and upper back pressed to the wall, then you may need some myofascial release before attempting this exercise.

If you feel a lot of restrictions in your neck, chest, upper back and shoulders, then get in touch as myofascial release and Spianl Flow are very likely to help release tension in these areas and improve your range of motion.

When somone comes to see me, I don't start by thinking: "What techniques am I going to use?"

I start by asking myself:
"What does this person need today to feel safe, heard and able to engage with care?"

Sometimes that means taking extra time to listen.

Sometimes it means starting with Spianl Flow or gentle fascia release.

Sometimes it means gentle joint mobilisations and deep tissue massage

Sometimes it means slowing everything down.

Sometimes it means helping somone to reconnect with how heir body feels.

I' ve come to realise that meaningful change often starts with creating the right environment for the body and mind to settle, rather than rushing to "fix" the symptoms.

No two people are the same, and your care shouldn't be either.
