👋 WHO'S BEHIND THE SCENES?

Hi, I’m Dave, the person behind Just Dave Sports Massage. 🖤💛

I’m a qualified Level 4 Sports Massage Therapist, and I got into sports massage because I wanted to help make quality, affordable massage accessible to those who need it — regardless of their circumstances.

For me, it’s not just about the massage. It’s about listening to people, understanding what they need and helping them feel comfortable, whether they’re a regular athlete, a grassroots player, someone who works on their feet all day, or simply someone who is feeling tight and achy.

Away from Just Dave, I’m a dad to four completely different children — and believe me, they certainly keep me busy! 😂

As a family, we’re big followers of rugby, so most weekends you’ll find me somewhere beside a rugby pitch.

On Saturdays, you’ll usually find me fulfilling my first aid role with the open-age lads. Although, every now and then, you might actually find me having a run around myself and playing for Leigh East Masters! 🏉

Then on Sundays, I’m back on the sidelines supporting the younger players.

Being involved in grassroots rugby has been a huge part of why I wanted to build Just Dave Sports Massage. I’ve seen first-hand how important it is for players and clubs to have access to the right support, without it costing a fortune.

So while you might know me as “Dave the massage guy”, there’s a lot more to me and to Just Dave than what happens on the treatment table.

I’m passionate about people, grassroots sport and making quality treatment accessible to everyone.

And if you’ve ever wondered why it’s called Just Dave...

Well, there’s no big complicated reason — I'm just Dave! 😂
