😎 She’s involved with a lot of weddings
😎 She can’t go anywhere without her sat nav
😎 All she wears is black
😎Despite wearing gloves, she always gets tan on her hands
😎She’s jealous of her clients weekend plans
😎 She gets a bit giddy about a gym shoot 😉
😎 Despite working in the ‘beauty industry’, she’s often, exhausted, pale and without make up 🤦‍♀️
😎She loves her job! 🥰

A little reminder that there’s a real human behind the business…

This week has been a LOT. 🥵😂

Another heatwave (I’m not complaining… much!), which means tans are taking longer with more drying time and a ton of extra finishing powder. It’s meant 6am starts, a ridiculously busy diary, an unexpected family emergency, and generally trying to keep all the plates spinning.

I’ve kept the dog alive. 🐶
I’ve kept myself alive. 😂
I’ve driven 500+ miles covering mobile tans this week (which, to be fair, is pretty standard for me! 🚗💨).

I’ve answered messages, accommodated last-minute appointments, moved things around where I can and generally done my absolute best to keep everyone happy.

Because sometimes we forget that behind the business name, the page and the booking system is just… a person.

A person with a family, responsibilities, emergencies, good days, bad days, tired days and days where she’s running on caffeine and sheer determination. 😂

I’ve been doing this for 10 years and I genuinely care about my clients and the service I provide. I will always do my best to accommodate you.

But this week has reminded me that I’m human too. ❤️

So, I’m taking Sunday completely off. No tans, no 6am starts, no rushing around — just a little breather, some time to catch up with family and a chance to reset.

If things have taken a little longer than usual, I’ve been a little slower replying, or life has occasionally got in the way… thank you so for bearing with me.

I’m still here.
I’m still working.
I’m still doing my very best.

And behind the business is just a very ordinary woman trying to keep the dog, herself and her business alive. 😂❤️
