Strike Back Self Defence for Women

While the nation cheers England on this World Cup, there's a side to match day that doesn't make the headlines.

When England lose, domestic abuse increases by 38%. When they win, it increases by 26%.

Home should be a place of safety. For too many women, it isn't.

At Strike Back, we see the reality of domestic abuse every day, and we want every woman and girl who trains with us to know support is there, whether for yourself or someone you love.

Tonight we talked about being realistic, while practicing some of our physical & none physical self defence!

Because what might work in one scenario, might not work in another!

Most people practice fire drills, first aid & the green cross code etc because it's important we know what to do in those situations!

Self defence should be right up there at the top of those all important life skills we need!

Self defence is not a nice to have, it's an essential part of life!
