Womens monthly circles to help women find themselves again to empower women to relax and unwind to feel safe in Worcester

I lived this cycle for a decade.

Looking back, I cannot believe what I tolerated, forgave and explained away.

But that’s how coercive control works. It doesn’t usually start with the worst thing he will eventually do. It starts with something just small enough to rationalize.

He screams in your face. Then apologizes.

He calls you names. Then says he didn’t mean it.

He punches a wall. Then cries.

He cheats. Then somehow you’re discussing what you did wrong.

He scares you. Then becomes the sweetest version of himself.

And you stay.

For me, hope kept me there far longer than fear ever could.

I kept hoping he would be different.

Hoping the man I loved was the real one and the abusive man was the exception.

Hoping this apology would finally mean something.

Hoping if I loved harder, communicated better, forgave one more time, this time would be different.

It wasn’t.

The behavior I forgave became the behavior he repeated. And over time, my definition of unacceptable became almost unrecognizable.

That’s the psychological trap.

You don’t wake up one morning and decide to tolerate horrific behavior. You get conditioned into tolerating it one boundary at a time.

I understand the woman who stayed now.

But I’m not her anymore.

The first time I see these signs in anyone, I’m out.

No second audition. No forensic investigation into his childhood. No waiting around for his potential to become his personality.

I already spent ten years learning that hope is not a treatment plan for an abusive man.

Patterns over promises.

Every fu***ng time. 🖤 #coercivecontrol #narcfree #narcissisticabusesurvivor #narcissist #domesticviolenceawareness 26/08/2026

Girl code isn’t written down… but most women know exactly what it means. 💜

It’s about loyalty, respect, honesty and looking out for one another.

💕 We don’t pursue taken men.
💕 We respect our friends’ relationships, exes and feelings.
💕 If we discover infidelity, we don’t stay silent.
💕 We protect each other when we’re out — especially when another woman feels unsafe or uncomfortable.
💕 We don’t deliberately swoop in on someone our friend has clearly expressed feelings for.

Because this isn’t about competition between women.

It’s about SISTERHOOD.
It’s about having another woman’s back.
It’s about being the woman who steps forward rather than standing by.

And yes… sometimes girl code means having an uncomfortable conversation. But I’d rather have an honest conversation than watch another woman be hurt.

Real women support, protect and empower each other. That’s the code. 💜🌙

Women Deserve to Be Heard 💜

I’ve been following the Lindsay Clancy trial, and it has made me think deeply about how many women struggle with postpartum mental health — and how devastating it can be when women feel they are not being heard, understood or supported by the very systems meant to protect them.

This isn’t about excusing actions or ignoring the pain of others. It’s about asking the difficult questions.

Were women listened to? Were the warning signs recognised? Did they receive the right help when they desperately needed it?

And this goes beyond postpartum mental health.

It’s for the women who have been dismissed by medical professionals.
For the women who have been betrayed or cheated on , abused by their husbands, partner's

For the women who have been told they are “overreacting.”
For the women who have cried behind closed doors because nobody truly listened.
For every woman who has felt invisible, unheard or alone.

Women need to be heard. Women need to be believed. Women need support before they reach breaking point.

Today, women across the world stand together — not to judge another woman, but to demand that women’s voices, mental health and wellbeing are taken seriously.

Because behind every woman who is struggling is a story we may never fully know.

Listen to women. Believe women. Support women. 💜
