Today we celebrate 10 whole years 🤎

Hitting this milestone is something I could only ever have dreamed of when I opened Blush. Back then, things were so much simpler. Social media wasn’t what it is now, and we relied so much on word of mouth and recommendations from all of our amazing clients.

Thank you so much to each and every one of you for continuing to keep us all so busy. I honestly can’t put into words how grateful I am Over the last 10 years we’ve been through so much together, and I feel so lucky that I’ve got to share so many of your journeys. We’ve celebrated the highs, supported each other through the lows, and built so many friendships along the way. ✨

Another huge thank you to all the amazing girls who make the salon what it is. I honestly couldn’t dream of working with a better team. You girls mean the world to me, and I’m so lucky you choose to be part of Blush.

Thank you for all your hard work, the laughs we have on the rare occasion we actually get five minutes together, and for always pulling together through the stressful times and having each other’s backs. I’m beyond grateful for everything you do for the salon, and I’m so proud of every single one of you. 👏🏼🫶🏼

A very special thank you to my mum. So much of what happens at Blush wouldn’t be possible without everything you do behind the scenes. From keeping everything running smoothly (and washing what feels like an endless mountain of towels!) to always being there whenever I need you, your support never goes unnoticed… even if I don’t always show my appreciation as much as I should.

You might not always be the face people see, but you’re such a huge part of Blush and everything we’ve built over the last 10 years. I honestly couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you for always believing in me and for your endless support I appreciate you more than words can say. 🤍

And lastly Thankyou to my husband, Thankyou for all your support, even when it means long days, late nights and bringing my work home with me. Thankyou for encouraging me when I doubt myself and always believing in me.

Emily will be joining us in the salon every other Saturday while she continues working towards becoming fully Level 3 qualified 🤍

She’s 30, married with 3 beautiful children and has such a passion for all things hair! especially creating bright blondes, expensive brunettes and gorgeous lived-in colour ✨

She’s still growing in confidence and is so excited to continue learning more whilst being based in a busy salon environment, picking up even more techniques along the way 🤍

Emily is currently looking to grow her clientele and build her Saturday column, so if you’ve been thinking about booking in for a fresh new look, she’d absolutely love to welcome you into her chair 🫶🏼

My names Dean, I’m 33 and live in Worksop with my wife and daughter. I have more than 10 years experience in the industry, summer of this year I decided to try it on my own and step away from site work, working alongside my friend we’ve been a lot busier than I imagined to start. I work Monday- Friday and at the weekend enjoy spending time with friends and family, getting to the gym when I can and the occasional game of football. Since having our daughter this has been something I’ve wanted to do and by taking on my own work it has allowed me to work around looking after our little girl whilst my wife is at work.
