It’s early July & here’s our June roundup - who even am I being this organised?! … June the month that brought us electric blue cat eye nails by the bucketload (I had no idea this new colour would be THAT popular), those bright summer colours sneaking back in (thankyou June mega heatwave), bunny BIAB (always a summer staple) & polka dots absolutely galore!

This was a BIAB INFILL appointment 👀. So can we have a little chat about sun cream? 😅☀️

Since the last heatwave I’ve seen more free-edge lifting than I usually see after a hot start to the summer holiday season - and this client NEVER gets lifting.

SPF is amazing (please keep wearing it! ❤️), but when it’s left sitting on your fingertips after applying it to yourself or the kids, it can soften the product & contribute to lifting and as a result… breakages.

With another heatwave on the way, this is your little reminder…

🧼 Apply your sun cream.

🧼 Then wash your nails & fingertips with soap afterwards with a little nail brush.

Your skin stays protected, and your BIAB has a much better chance of surviving the sunshine til your next appointment! ☀️💅
