It’s been a kinda grey and wet weekend.. So when family and friends can’t get out for a hair do, I’m always happy to help with last minute haircuts..

When a hairdresser doesn’t have time to get their hair done,,, sometimes the scales and bowls come out…
Only as professional and many years of experience, am I able to apply mesh (highlights or lowlights) and colour to my own hair..
Trust me it isn’t a quick or easy job when you look for perfection too. And not a process I’d recommend or enjoy doing often myself….

Back in the salon tomorrow…

My lovely client, wanted a tweak to her base colour. A warm brown was applied to roots, with a root drag through to middle lengths. Then added some fine lighter streaks to top and lighter ends. With a copper and copper gold in thicker slices/weaves, to give dimension and depth, allow the lighter strands to pop through..
Great shine still, and not compromising the hair condition,,,

-From a dark brown to a warmer blonde base
-Using a balayage technique, a root smudge and toner

Never underestimate the importance of a toner and root tap/smudge to give a smoother more even coverage. And of course a good trim!

Love how it’s still got lots of shine!! ✨

A colour touch up and treatment.. going lighter for the summer…And shiny too

Done a little while ago.. I’m always up for a challenge.
Sadly I didn’t take a before photo. It started off with light brown roots, and a build up of dark brown tint on ends.
Who else loves purple?

LOVED doing this tidy up - - My client had baby lites to even out the roots to mid length of the hair. Lifting the ends to a creamier lighter blonde. Using SEQ to neutralise the golden/brassy ends resulting in a subtle balayage look! #hairstylist #hairdresser #balayage #highlights #hairtransformation
