Today I completed my very first set of SPMU lip blush and liner, and I couldn't be happier with how far I've come already! 💋

I will always patch test any lash or brow products next to the eye area, as i want to be sure there is no irritation.

This lovely client was fine for almost 10 hours after her patch test, and then woke up like this.

The biggest concern is sensitivity to ingredients like PPD (para-phenylenediamine), which is commonly used in hair and brow dyes. A person can use a tint for years and still suddenly develop an allergy. Once sensitized, reactions often get worse with future exposure.

Common reactions patch testing helps prevent:

Redness and itching

Swelling around the brows or eyelids

Burning or blistering

Rash spreading beyond the treatment area

In severe cases, breathing issues or systemic allergic reactions

Don't ever skip the patch test stage, it's really not worth it 😭
