Rant alert 🚨
So this week alone Iv had 4 no shows. It’s only Wednesday and my 2nd day in work. That’s £155 lost. I buy all my stock in advance so Iv had to outlay for this in advance. I don’t charge deposits nor do I charge people for missed appointments like a lot of salons. But this can not go on. Who can afford to lose money weekly like this . I hate ranting as I do believe it’s unprofessional but I’m feeling really undervalued and serious thinking about implementing a deposit and no show fee as this can not go on. It’s impossible for me to fill a no show appointment. As I have to give a few minutes to make sure the client isn’t just running late. Then as my clients come from all over Wrexham/chester I can’t pull another client in as I would then run behind for my next appointment. Last minute cancellations cost me financially but no shows mean I sit here for nothing and it drains me of income and of energy and makes me feel down and annoyed.

IMPORTANT NOTICE PLEASE READ

So I’ve been holding this off for as long as I possibly could but unfortunately to keep my salon running efficiently and for me to provide the best service I possibly can there will be some changes to my pricing. Many of you will know I do not have a set price list I have found this the fairest way of keeping my clients from overpaying.

It’s been almost 2 years since my last price increase.

Going forward from 1st February

All colour services will increase by £5.00

All cutting services dry cuts, cut and blows and gents will increase by £2.00

This cost is to help towards the overall running of the salon, the constant increase in products and supplies and of corse my wages.
